Marlene’s most famous film is titled “The Blue Angel” where she played the role of a cabaret singer who causes the downfall of a respected schoolmaster.

• Madonna paid homage to Dietrich's looks and style several times throughout her career, most notably in the video of "Express Yourself.” She also included Dietrich in the famous spoken part of her 1990 megahit "Vogue”.

After he left school when he was 16, he lived in Paris and New York City where he attended acting school. In 1992 he began his acting career at the age of 21 at the Schauspielhaus in Hamburg. He also had numerous small parts in television productions.He is best known for starring in Knockin' On Heaven's Door.
