Easy music
www.3mp.com.au
Full of energy and personality, 3MP was the first commercial radio station based in the suburbs, originally broadcasting from the top floor of Frankston’s Bayside Shopping Centre in 1976. 3MP, which stands for Mornington Peninsula, was proudly a suburban radio station, a station the average person in the ‘burbs would grow to love and call home.
Now in 2020, Easy Music 3MP is back, playing the music Melbourne‘s mature audience grew up with and still loves. This is an audience that has the time to listen for long periods each day and the disposable income to enjoy life.
Broadcasting on the traditional 1377 AM frequency, Easy Music 3MP is also available in crystal clear stereo on DAB+ across Melbourne, as well as streaming online via 3mp.com.au, RadioApp and iHeart radio.
Easy Music 3MP’s mature target audience makes up 24% of Melbourne’s population, that’s nearly a million people over the age of 55. They are extremely financially aware and will gravitate towards trusted sources of help and advice. They are homeowners, investors, car owners and regular grocery buyers.
Family and lifestyle also play a vital role in their lives. They are looking to travel, both domestically and overseas, and are equally as happy dining out with friends locally, going to the movies and spending time with family. Melbourne’s mature audience also has a stronger sense of brand loyalty. They like dealing with people face to face and will use brands they know and trust over and over.

GIPPSLANDThe GOLD 1242 and TRFM service area stretches across the coastal plain between the highlands of the Great Dividing Range and Bass Strait, and extends 400 kilometres from the western edge of the Latrobe Valley through to the New South Wales border.
The market includes the important industrial region of the Latrobe Valley, only 90 minutes from Melbourne’s CBD. The primary industry in “The Valley” is power, with over 85% of Victoria’s power generated in Gippsland.
One of the other major industries is tourism, with the pristine beauty of the 90 Mile Beach and the Gippsland Lakes tourist region in East Gippsland.
The Gippsland market is unique in Australia as it has five major population centres spread over a large geographic area.
The heaviest concentration of the population is in the Latrobe Valley, which consists of the three major cities of Moe, Morwell and Traralgon. Other major centres in the service area include Sale, Bairnsdale and Lakes Entrance.
