VOLUNTEERISM 101 Starting this Sunday, May 8, after every worship service (9:30 am, 11:00 am, and 12:15 pm), come join us in Youth Room 1 (NW Wing) for a mandatory hour-long presentation on Volunteerism 101. Additional dates for training are on Sundays, May 15 and May 22, after each worship service. This training is for all members who are currently volunteers and for those of you choosing to begin volunteering here at Family of Christ. GRADUATES’ RECOGNITION ON SUNDAY, MAY 22 If you or someone you know is graduating from high school, the AF Academy or a college/university this year, please give details to the church office (i.e. name, school graduating from, degree, as well as future plans of the graduate). Building Update The HVAC ductwork materials were delivered this week and Elder Construction began installing the drywall. We should expect to see the stucco being installed next week. CAVE QUEST VBS JUNE 13 - 17 (9:00 am - Noon) Participant and volunteer registration is now online only. Please visit www.foccs.net to register, pay and donate food items for VBS.

VBS VOLUNTEER TRAINING MAY 15 (12:15 - 2:15 pm) All VBS volunteers are strongly encouraged to attend this training. We will walk you through VBS, practice songs, hand out volunteer role assignments, tour the building and train you in your specific role. Lunch and childcare are provided.

CHILDREN’S MINISTRY JOB OPENINGS FOC’s Children’s Ministry is hiring for two positions:

Children’s Ministry Assistant~10 hours per week - 4 hours on Sunday mornings for support duties and 6 hours during the week for administrative duties.

Kidz Club Coordinator~10 hours per week - 3-4 hours on Sunday evenings to run the program and 5-6 hours during the week to prepare programming and recruit volunteers. For more information, please contact Kathy Kirk at kathykirk@foccs.net.
