Wehave swimming pools, aluminum boats, swing sets withslides, volleyball, horse shoes, ping pong, basketball, tether ball and even pool tables. Check out our greatprices. Take your kids and enjoy the great outdoors. Ourprivate camps give you a great outdoor experience whenyou talk to fellow PG&E’ers at the campfire roastingmarshmallows and making s'mores with graham crack-ers and chocolate bars. If you remember the great timesyou had as a youngster, make your child’s memory fullof the outdoors as well. Take them fishing in any ofPG&E’s many lakes and streams. Letter from the Chairman
As 2006 Chairman of the Board, I plan to attendand volunteer at many PSEA events this year and next. Ifyou are not sure what events are out there check out PSEA'sActive Calendar. http://www.psea.info/acal.php
I encourage and I challenge you all to volunteer this year.Volunteering strengthens & hones our leadership skills; it’sgood for our self esteem and builds positive friendships with
others in our community sphere.
PSEA holds its annual elections every August for the 18 local Chapter positions &PSEA Board of Trustee positions. Anyone who is a member and in good standingwith PSEA can be elected, just contact your local PSEA Rep or the PSEA office.
Many of our long time members are retiring and we encourage you to stay active inPSEA by signing up with your local PSEA Retiree Clubs. Remember: You are amember for life once you sign up with PSEA, regardless if you retire or change jobs.
New ideas promoted last year: Texas Hold-em Tournaments, Scuba DivingCertification, plus we’re bringing back past favorites: Tennis, Bowling and Softball.New events I'd like to add are Billiards, Bunko and Bicycling clubs and PSEA'sPresident Doug Chadbourne wants to try a Dodge Ball Tournament. If you have asuggestion, please let us know.
PSEA’s 90th Anniversary is quickly approaching. We are already making plans to cel-ebrate in 2007. If you are not a member, sign up now, while the membership is freefor those who sign up during the first 60 days of being hired beginning May 1, 2006.
Looking forward to seeing you, your family and friends at our next PSEA Event,
Debra Montanez2006 Chairman
