The 2016-2017 Tuition Contracts were due on Thursday, April
9th. If you have not turned your contract in, please do so as
soon as possible. Please remember to include a check made
payable to Montini for your book fees. Contracts will not be
processed from families whose accounts are in arrears.
Registration material for the 2016-2017 school year will be sent
home with your child the week of May 16th.

2015/2016 YEARBOOK
We are now taking orders for the 2015/2016 Montini Catholic School
Yearbook. If you would like to order a yearbook, please complete the
order form below and return it to the office by Wednesday, May 18th.
The cost of the yearbook is $25.00. Please make checks payable to
Montini Catholic School. Yearbooks will be available for pickup in the
fall.

TUITION ASSISTANCE
With registration approaching for the 2016-2017 school year, I have for you the
information to apply for tuition assistance using the PSAS format. Tuition will be
going up 2.5% for the 2016-2017 school year. Please remember that the money for
tuition assistance comes from the Montini coffers. PSAS does not award any
funds; they merely evaluate for need and give us their recommendations. Also, if a
family receives the maximum award using the PSAS recommendation, the highest
amount given is at 50% tuition. The other 50% will remain your responsibility.
The last date to file is Friday, April 29, 2016. You must be certified by your
pastor as eligible for the Participating Parish Rate to receive any tuition
assistance. There are about six weeks in which to file for tuition assistance. I will
send out weekly reminders until that time. However, it is the obligation of the
parents to file before the deadline. No tuition assistance will be given to anyone
who does not file this form. Filing by the April 29th date will enable us to
determine if your family has received any tuition assistance before the end of the
current school year. The procedure to apply is as follows:
1. Go to www.montini.k12.il.us
2. Go to the Admissions and Academics section
3. Click on Tuition and Tuition Assistance
4. Scroll down to Tuition Assistance
5. Click on the link http://www.psas.org/3554.aspx
6. This will take you to the PSAS application

Remember all applications must be done on-line and submitted by
April 29th.

Montini Catholic School is joining with Saint Mary’s Parish in collecting funds for
Hope for Haitians. Students can purchase a dress down day for $1/day on the
following days; 4/29, 5/6 and 5/13. Students may dress down on all three days if
they bring $1 each day. Every classroom will have a collection box for the
donations. Little Angels Preschool will also be participating and will receive a special treat.
