WIDGETWhat IS a widget? Great question.

For starters, it’s fun to say. Widget. Widget. Widget . . . We digress.

At the most basic, a widget is a cool, concrete, take-home item for families to use.

It might be a “Grati-tooter Whistle” to signal time out for a family to stop in mid-action and list things for which they’re thankful during the month of Gratitude. Or it might be a “Get Generous Gift Tag” during our Generosity month to encourage families to mirror God’s incredible act of giving in the gift of His Son, Jesus.

Widgets aren’t just a quick giveaway; they’re designed for use by parents and kids together to practice the month’s life app.

How do I introduce the monthly widget?Try a Family Experience (FX), when kids and parents come together in the same space. We even build a widget introduction into the FX welcome segment each month.

For an even more intriguing (and occasionally disastrous) widget demonstration, check out the monthly video segment where M.C.
