The selected performer must execute this work in the role of Instrumentalist (Violin/Viola or both) and Neologist. This piece is intended to be played and recorded by one performer. There are no conditions as to which instrument is to be played if both are selected. No less than nine (9) sounds will be performed and no more than thirty-one (31) during this time. Durations of each sound are at the discretion of the performer. Each daily sound performance will last 2 minutes and 8 seconds and be recorded. Each daily verbal performance will last less than 21 minutes and will also be recorded. Each day’s recording will be recorded sequentially, first by instrumental performance and then followed by verbal performance. Each day’s performance will not exceed 29 minutes in total (instrumental and verbal performance combined). The performer may choose which time during the day to perform the work. A new performance is to be performed on each and every day listed. The entire performance will be documented sequentially and recorded in its entirety.
