Outreach Program that focus on leadership, goal setting, growing and repairing trust, managing change and emotional intelli-gence. This isn’t the first time that Schlouch has turned to the mili-tary for special leadership insight. General Gronski brings a whole new perspective to the training of leaders in business and his sessions are well-attended.Safety Trained Supervisors

Safety Trained Supervisor Con-struction (STSC) certification pro-gram, sponsored by the Board of Certified Safety Professionals, pro-vides higher standards and a means for individuals and employers to verify safety and health knowledge important for first-line supervisors, leaders and any person with safety responsibilities. Schlouch has al-ways stressed safety in every aspect of our work and has nine certified safety professionals on staff. Our safety huddles on each job site ev-ery morning are well-known in the industry. Now, our STSC certifica-

tion program is just one more step toward maintaining an ultra-safe working environment. As always, our goal is to have every one of our employees arrive fit and go home safe every day.Keeping Fit

In addition to staying safe, Schlouch supports all of its em-ployees to be fit and healthy. To this end, Schlouch brings in a fitness professional to conduct regular wellness and fitness train-ing and exercise programs for its management and staff. Employ-ees are shown ways to improve their well-being through exercises

that can be done at home or in the workplace to give them a little ex-tra boost when facing their day-to-day responsibilities. Schlouch also offers each employee and spouse an annual biometric screening to know their numbers and online health risk assessment to prevent illness.

These are only a few of the learning and growing programs that Schlouch makes available to its team. I like to say at Schlouch, “The race for continuous improve-ment has no finish line.”
