midnight asphalt—a slick of iridescent

oil, the crackle of shattered glass under

a street lamp. Flashes of vivid color

Anna’s unique drip technique involves meticulously

layering CND Colour and effects to create dimension

and texture on the nail.

Step 1: Polish a base layer of gold Chrome.

Step 3: Fill in the black spots with gold Chrome, leaving a thin outer rim of black.

Step 4: Fill in the gold spots with Copper Chrome, leaving a thin outer rim of gold and black.

Step 5: Fill in the copper spots with another layer of Blackjack, leaving a thin outer rim of copper, gold and black. Allow polish to completely dry and finish with SpeedeytM top Coat.

Step 1: Polish a base layer of two coats of Dark ruby.

Step 2: Follow with one coat of Copper Shimmer*. Apply SpeedeytM top Coat and allow to dry to the touch.

Step 4: Apply Super Matte top Coat to pupil only and allow to dry.

* Substitute Ice Blue Shimmer or emerald Shimmer effects for different looks.

Step 3: to create the “pupil,” paint a coat of Blackjack from the center of the nail to the extension edge. Begin on one side of the nail, then mirror on the opposite side and smooth out.

Step 2: Using Blackjack, randomly draw black leopard-like spots on the nail.
