School involvement: Worked with Mary Ellen Henderson Middle School to arrange a shoe collection. The bags and boxes of shoes donated by students will be sent to people in Haiti and Falls Church’s Sister City, Kokolopori.

Why Carol is a BIE partner: “This project is a great way to con-nect middle school students to the world. Donating shoes is both simple and important. At Falls Church Foot & Ankle, we are glad to be able to facilitate this kind of student kindness to others.”
