The Canadian Woodlands Forum and our host AV Group NB Inc. cordially invite you to attend the 2019 Fall Meeting along the picturesque Bay of Chaleur!
Our program entitled, "Smart Mixed-wood & Hardwood Silviculture for a Changing Environment" will be held in collaboration with the Northern Hardwoods Research Institute and Groupe Savoie Inc., focusing on implementing novel and innovative silviculture to sustain our mixed and hardwood resource.
Day one of the program will provide timely updates on hardwood silviculture & management regimes, understanding the impacts of climate change and operationalizing this knowledge for today's forest operations. The field trip on day two will reinforce the principles and ratify the discussion from day one, with an engaging & hands-on, in-woods program.
This two-day event will bring together forestry professionals and community leaders from across the Atlantic region. Check out the preliminary program & hope you can join us!
Sincerely,
Peter RobichaudExecutiveDirector,CWF
