Check out our editor fall favorites below! ALLEVENTS.IN Honey Haven Farm is your one-stop-shop for all things fall! While at the farm you can do a variety of activites from hay rides to the pumpkin fields, to corn mazes, to a pumpkin slingshot and even a stop at the food trucks for pumpkin ice cream and slushies. If none of that appeals to you and you want to indulge in something sweet, Honey Haven has a barn with food and drinks for sale. You can choose from their apple cider, a baked desserts or a bag of apples. Honey Haven is the perfect place to “get your fall on!” FOURSQUARE If you have never heard of Lerch’s Donuts yet, I highly suggest you look them up. They are the best donuts you will ever have in your life. During the fall season, they have flavors such as bluberry and pumpkin. The company takes a mobile foodtruck with them all around Ohio to sell their donuts. PSA, they will be at Hawkins on Claremont Ave. Oct. 12-13 if you want to try the best donuts ever and tust me you will agree once you have had one. INDIANS TWITTER The arrival of fall comes with the arrival of football and October baseball. There is something about watching your favorite team all cuddled up in a sweatshirt with their logo on it. No feeling is better than sitting down to watch a football game when its 60 degrees outside. The weather is perfect and it finally feels like football season has officially started, right? The same to say for baseball, but the feeling of October baseball means that your team did well enough to make it into the postseason and has a shot at a World Series title. It is just another good reason to sit on the couch with a blanket and cheer on the Indians. BREE GANNON The first day of October also marks the first day of “Spooky Season” so grab your significant other, friend or even your dog and get to watching those scary movies. Scary movies are being played all month long on Freeform and if you pay for Hulu, you have even more options. Hulu just released a new category called ‘ Huluween’ that includes scary movies and television shows. Watch at your own risk! MAGGIE COGAR Color changing leaves are the sign that fall has arrived. The beauty the col- ored leaves bring is something that is worth stopping to take in. Every drive is much better when you are looking at the trees passing by. The MITCHELL’S ORCHARD Mitchell’s Orchard & Farm Market is the perfect place to partake in fall activites that are all about apples. The orchard is the perfect place for apple picking or buying apple products. The orchard makes their own apple cider that is for sale along with bags of apples if you do not want to pick your own. The orchard also sells other in-season fruit, beer, wine and supplies to make your own drinks. If you have not been to Mitchell’s yet, try to get out there before the season is over! METROPARENT.COM Another fall favorite is Cedar Point’s Halloweekends. Cedar point goes from friendly and fun to scary and dark. You can ride your favorite rides while clowns are walking around down below, trying to scare you. While at Halloweekends, you can ride the coasters, attend one of the shows or walk through haunted houses. If any of that appeals to you, then you should definitely check out Cedar Point.
