The City of Sturgis is excited to host the 2015 Connecng Entrepreneurial Communies Conference on October 21 st and 22 nd . This conference focuses on learning about excing concepts and resources, sharing best pracces and fresh ideas, and empowering communies to grow our local economies. The conference is stacked with excing and interesng breakout sessions that are embedded in shops and interesng venues throughout downtown Sturgis. The best part is that the opportunity is close and affordable. We encourage you to invite others that are interested in the importance of entrepreneurship and growing local economies. Registraon is $85 per person and includes the opening and closing lunch, Wednesday evening networking recepon and dinner, as well as all of the conference materials. Halloween Time! Halloween is just around the corner and Safety Town is also hosng the 2nd Annual Safety Town Halloween Extravaganza on Friday, October 30 th from 6:00 pm-8:00 pm. They will have trick-or-treang, hayrides, a haunted house, apple cider and doughnuts. Please Fall Brush & Leaf Pick-Up Fall leaf pickup will begin the first week of November . Leaf pickup will connue through the end of November. This schedule will adjust due to weather condions. Please make sure leaves are placed on the terrace area and not in the street. Weather condions and varying amounts of brush make it difficult to adhere to a strict schedule; therefore, it is necessary to have your materials ready for pick up. 2015 CEC Conference—Downtown Sturgis!
