Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with
music and song. For the LORD is the great God,
the great King above all gods.
Psalm 95:2-3 (NIV)
As we move into another holiday season, we have SO MUCH to
be thankful for in WyandotCARES and in our communities!
God has blessed us with such faithful and talented teachers and
volunteers. Our students are amazing and so eager to learn. Our
devoted prayer warriors, donors, and friends have helped
WyandotCARES grow and reach out to students in so many ways.
God is glorified in ALL of the WyandotCARES classes. One fifth
grade student had this to say, “Before I came to Religious Ed I
questioned if God is real. But now I have no question.”
WyandotCARES students are influencing their circle of friends and
their families. They are encouraging their parents and
grandparents to go to church and learn more about Jesus.
We are so grateful for your love and support of the youth in
Wyandot County and we are so thankful that God has given us
(and YOU) the opportunity to share His Word with the students in
our communities!
Did you KNOW?
There are
401 students attending
WyandotCARES classes this year!
In 2016, the Lord began leading my wife and I to adopt from China. We
felt this was crazy, since we already had 5 kids. However, when the
Lord calls, you follow. Thus, began our nearly 3-year journey of
paperwork, fundraising, and chasing after what at times felt would
never really happen. Well on May 1st, my wife wrote a letter to our
adoption agency sharing our story once again. Then to our great
excitement on May 2nd
, we were notified that we had been matched
with a little girl. We still had a lot to do with prep, funds being raised,
and getting our schedule open for a nearly 3-week trip to China. Praise
the Lord everything came together and nearly 40% of the funds needed
came in the last month before we headed to China in late July. Our
time in China was crazy with stops in 3 major cities all bigger then NYC,
but through it all we had an incredible peace knowing this was God’s
perfect plan for our family. On August 9th, we returned home with our
precious Selah Mei. Our family will never be the same and we finally
feel our family is complete - at least until God leads us on the next
adventure. We just want to challenge you to listen to God’s call that He
lays on your heart, trust Him, and follow. The adventures from God are
truly the most rewarding. Lastly, if you could keep Selah in your pray-
ers as she has a few surgeries ahead of her.
