NEW Open Studio: Art Meet Nights Mon, 6:30-8:30pm, $2.15/person. No program Oct 9.Come in and be inspired! The Open Studio is a place where artistic and creative work can be created and shared collaboratively. We hope to foster creativity and encourage experimentation in an atmosphere of cultural exchange, conversation, encouragement, and freedom of expression. Attendees can expect to meet other artists and share their work, ideas, and expertise. Bring in a piece you are working on, start something new, or get collaborating with other artists! Easels, drawing horses, and drawing boards are available for your use. Bring your own drawing and painting supplies.

We will provide a still life composition at each session to get things started. Other opportunities include: sketch each other, anatomical studies from the skeleton, learn about various local art events and exhibitions, and get motivated by the creative energy. For artists of all levels of experience. Everyone has something to contribute - share your unique perspective!

Art/Craft/Literature3D Pumpkin Carving, Ages 16 and UpMr. Pumpkin wants to share with you some of the special techniques he uses in his carving so you can take your Halloween pumpkins to the next level! Sign up for this workshop which will happen outside at the Cambridge Farmer’s Market. Learn how to create dynamic 3D images with texture, dimension and expression. Collection Design and Sewing Ages 14 and UpSpend the fall and winter working with instructor Joanne Jones to plan, design and sew your own collection. Pieces can be clothing and accessories or home décor such as curtains, cushions, pillows or an intricate garment requiring a long term investment of time such as a formal gown or other clothing item. Additional textile options also possible. The program will culminate in a public display of the collections and gala on May 29. Some supplies provided but students will have to purchase fabric and other materials - to be discussed as the program progresses. This class is for youth who have moderate to advanced experience in the Going Green with Your Sewing Machine course as well as adults with intermediate sewing skills. Saturday Art ClubFall is a great season to get creative with all the special holidays and celebrations. First we will bring on the goblins, ghouls and bats! Learn the art of printmaking to make some uniquely scary images, roll up your sleeves to embellish and decorate gourds in colourful ways and complete a large scale drawing in pastels and pencil crayons. The autumn theme continues with a special watercolour fall leaf painting. As we get closer to Christmas, students will make their own unique, creative cards using a variety of art media and techniques. Nutcracker Ballet Be a part of the magic of Nutcracker Ballet and perform on stage with a live orchestra!
