Fall 2016 Entrepreneurship Lecture Series David is a nave Kansan who grew up and graduated from Concordia Kansas, came to Kansas State University to study Kinesiology / sports medicine and graduated in May 2004, and was the punter for the K-State Wildcat Football team in the 02’ and 03’ seasons. Aſter graduaon, David worked as a sports performance coach for two years in Atlanta, Georgia before joining the Chick fil A team in 2006. David worked his way up to owner/operator for the Manhaan Chick fil A store for the past four years. David is married to Cheryl and has two children Graham five and Paige three. David Hamel, Chic-fil-A: September 12 @ 4:30pm - Locaon: #109 Jusn Hall Davy started Fulfillment Plus, a markeng services company, in 1999 aſter realizing that the fulfillment needs of businesses and nonprofit organizaons are oſten not met. This all-in-one approach for markeng services has proven to be a successful model for the growth of her company. As such, Davy has received the following honors in her career: In October of 2005, Davy was accepted into the Helzberg Entrepreneurial Mentoring Program – garnering Barne Helzberg as her mentor. In June of 2005, from the Kansas City Business Journal, with the Women Who Mean Business Award. In 2003, Fulfillment Plus was honored by the Kansas City Small Business Monthly as one of the top 25 companies in Kansas City with under 25 employees. Davy began her career as an assistant controller for a regional financial instuon, and later became the controller of that same instuon. A nave of Manhaan, Kansas, Davy holds a bachelors degree in management and spanish from Kansas State University, as well as an MBA with a concentraon in finance from Fort Hays State University. Yapps professional career began at General Foods, manager of the beverage division. Jeffs successes range from a strategic partner to Microsoſt Corporaon, President and COO of Hollywood Entertainment, Viacom just to name a few. Jeffrey Yapp graduated with disncon from the University of Michigan with bachelorsdegree in Business Administraon, and with honors from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University with a Master of Management degree. Jeffs greatest source of pride is his wife Tamara and their seven children; Marlo, Krisne, Molly, Ryan, Kelli, CJ, and Nolen. His children aend Oregon State, Michigan, University of Arizona, and Ball State University. His youngest Nolen is a freshman here at Kansas State. Quesons? David is a native Kansan who grew up and graduated from Concordia Kansas, came to Kansas State

University to study Kinesiology / sports medicine and graduated in May 2004, and was the punter

for the K-State Wildcat Football team in the 02’ and 03’ seasons. After graduation, David worked

as a sports performance coach for two years in Atlanta, Georgia before joining the Chick fil A team

partner to Microsoft Corporation, President and COO of Hollywood Entertainment, Viacom just to

name a few. Jeffrey Yapp graduated with distinction from the University of Michigan with

bachelors’ degree in Business Administration, and with honors from Kellogg School of

Management at Northwestern University with a Master of Management degree. Jeff’s greatest
