New Website Launch

At the beginning of October, Telamon launched a new, redesigned version of its website, www.telamon.com.

Telamon’s goal with its new website is to offer a clean, modern design, user-friendly functionality, and a content-rich

experience to visitors.

“Embarking on our 30-year anniversary, this is the perfect time for us to launch a revamped site,” said Alexa

Amatulli, Marketing Lead. “We are very excited about various new features, such as downloadable case studies,

which will provide users with real-life examples of how

Telamon simplifies business for its customers, and a more

organized newsroom that is color-categorized by business

unit.”

The updated design will make it easier for users to

navigate throughout the pages of Telamon’s five business

units. As a substantial improvement to Telamon’s previous

website which utilized side bar navigation, the new site will

guide users throughout the presented content so they can

access what is most relevant to them. Various business

unit pages, such as Energy Solutions and Industrial

Solutions, feature product and project images to showcase

Telamon’s breadth of industry experience. The new site will

also provide multiple ways to connect to Telamon, including direct links to Telamon’s Facebook, Twitter, and

LinkedIn pages, where company updates will appear on a regular basis.

Industrial Solutions Launches Lean Initiative

With an eye to making step-

change improvements in cost,

quality, and delivery

performance, Industrial

Solutions now has a Lean

Leader (Ray Cooper) and a

Lean Steering Committee.

This group is responsible for

creating a lean culture

through the development and

implementation of “Telamon

Lean Systems”.

Borrowing liberally from companies who have impressive records of

lean manufacturing achievement like Toyota, Autoliv, Delphi, Nissan,

Rolls-Royce, and Boston Scientific, the team just kicked off the first

phase of this new continuous improvement culture by rolling out the

basic housekeeping discipline of 5S and visual management.

The team has created training documents, chosen pilot cells, and selected facilitators in the three Telamon

locations that support Industrial Solutions. First activities were launched in Carmel and Fresnillo, Mexico in August

and Dayton, Ohio in September.
