MR NASH
Congratulations on your promotion to Phase Leader for LKS2. We know that you’ll do a great job!
WINTER WEATHER
Please ensure you have added your mobile number to the Milton Keynes
Council FREE Text message service where if the school is closed due to bad weather, you will receive a message notifying you. Go onto http://
www.milton-keynes.gov.uk/Closures/Subscribe If you need help with this please see Mrs Turner in the school of-fice and she will be happy to help add you.
Please also remember that your child must come to school with NAMED, warm coats, hats, gloves & scarves.
CANCER RESEARCH & CHILDREN IN NEED
We are over the moon at the kind donations that families made for both charities. Cancer Research raised £751.40 and Children in Need raised £206.50.
Thank you to everyone. £206.50 was also raised for playground equipment.
PUPIL PREMIUM
Please remember that families can now apply ONLINE for Pupil Premium to see if they are entitled to Free School Meals, FREE Breakfast Club and extra resources for the school. If you haven't already please go on to:
https://emsonline.milton-
keynes.gov.uk/CitizenPortal_LIVE
If you would like this information emailed to you so that you can just click on the website, need any help either applying or even need to use a computer then please come to the school office where Mrs Turner will be happy to help!
STICKY FINGERS
We are sadly going through a spate of children having sticky fingers. Please can you emphasise to your children how important it is not to take, remove or borrow anything that doesn't belong to them. We of course chat to all children about this and have had the local PCSO’s in to chat to some children too, however if you too can enforce the importance of honesty too, we are sure it will stop.

PARKING
We would like to thank all those families and that have been respecting Mr Williamson and the cones that he places outside each day to stop the parking on the yellow lines. It gives us great delight to know that families understand the importance of NOT parking on them to ensure that our precious children are safe each day when they arrive and depart from school.
BREAKFAST CLUB 8.00-8.40am each day for 50p unless you
receive Pupil Premium and then your child can attend FREE!
No need to book, you can just turn up on the day.
Children are then taken to their classes.

SPORT’S REPORT MK College: We have teamed up with MK College to continue delivering lots of great PE and sports clubs. We have Coaches coming in to support lessons and they have been leading some great basketball session after school on a Tuesday which will continue after the break! Well done to our Y5/6 Basketball team who performed brilliantly at the school competition. Having not had much of a chance to practice before, they soon showed the rest of the schools their skills and talents! A huge well done to our school Cross Country team who all competed against hundreds of other children on a freezing Saturday morning. There were some incredible individual performance but the whole team together were outstanding!
Gifted and Talented: We were proud to host the pupil enhancement programmes for Gymnastics and Rock Climbing to children from schools across Milton Keynes. We were able to support the more able and talented athletes from many schools to progress their skills, network and support other top performers. Congratulations to Ruby T, Olivia and Merija for their involvement In Gymnastics and, Emma P and Kyros in Rock Climbing. Additionally, well done to Angelika and Ruby T who attended the MK gifted and Talented programme where they attended skill sessions with other top athletes from the city and learnt how to have a good balance of training and school! We are hoping to have more of our talented Year 6's attended next time.
