Stabilize and Soothe Through Consistency

An abundance of wind in the atmosphere can be destabilizing.  Keep a consistent daily routine by doing the same things-- wake, eat, exercise, sleep--at the same time to generate stability.

Self-massage with warm oil to ground the body and protect skin against the elements.

Exercise in the early morning or in the evening.  Slow, gentle and strengthening work outs are best this season.  Meditation can also help cultivate a sense of stability.

Take time for silence, stillness and peace in the morning.

Use steam baths or humidifiers to preserve moisture and clear sinuses.
