FAITH Players is our drama group that is produced and directed by Joshua Rexford. We hold performances at Lee County Performing Arts Center in Sanford, NC. We have successfully completed three plays and three musicals written by Joshua. Thank you for your interest in FAITH Homeschool Cooperative. We are currently accepting applications for the 2016-2017 school year. Attached is our membership application. You will need to fill out the application, doctrine statement, and questionnaire. Please send it by mail to Liberty Baptist Church. The address is on the application. After the membership process is complete, you will receive an invitation to the FAITH yahoo group email loop, which is a primary means of communication. Currently, we have over 120 families who meet on Monday mornings from 8 AM - Noon for classes. We usually offer over 50 classes. Each teacher decides how much to charge for his or her classes. This is a yearly fee and range from $0 - $150 per class per student. Teachers are subject to a background check and teach from a Christian worldview. Our target grades are Junior High and High School but we do offer classes for Kindergarten and up. A student ID is required for all who attend Monday classes; unfortunately, we cannot accommodate visitors during co-op. Registration for 2016-2017 co-op classes begins in April. Please join us for an Open House on April 18 from 10 AM - Noon. It is a great opportunity to meet our teachers, peruse curriculum used, and visit with our members. An informational meeting about our co-op will be held at 11 AM. Field trips are organized monthly and are another benefit that our members enjoy with some trips being local and others not. Our Field Trip Coordinator ensures trips are offered for all ages or targets some for elementary age and others for older students. You may join FAITH and participate in field trips without taking classes. We also offer some sports programs. Volleyball is for girls 11 and up, cheerleading for 5 years and up, and basketball for guys 11 and up. We are adding a cross- country team for middle school and up this year. There are additional fees for these programs.
