What is a Faith Community Health Promoter?A Faith Community Health Promoter is a volunteer who is trained to educate and motivate a church congregation towards better health. No medical background is necessary.
During training, Faith Community Health Promoters will learn how to:• Help others in your congregation lose weight, eat healthier, manage chronic diseases, exercise and lead
healthier lifestyles• Engage others to help lead congregational health initiatives such as health talks and wellness programs• Connect others with healthcare resources in your community, including health screenings and physicians
