The KHOF host pastor tells

The True Message of EasterThe True Message of Easter is not just the injustice of the Roman trial,

nor the crown of thorns upon his brow, tis not the tears of dark Gethsemanenor the th':d of cruel lashes.

The True Message of Easter is not the cries, the nails, the Cross, thedarkness. No. . . the True Message of Easter is not the sealed tomb, theposted guard, the stone displaced, the angel hosts nor the empty tomb. No . .

htis is not the True meaning of Easter, for all of these only point to the tre-rnendous price that was paid to purchase me. Through the corridors of etern-ityring these words-"Who Needeth Not To Offer Up A Sacrifice For His OwnSins", but was offered for You and Me.

I, was crucified with Christ, I, was buried with Him, I, was raised to walkin newness of Life. The True Message of Easter is what happened to me inGethsemane when blood was shed releasing my will from itts enslavement. What happened to me when he bore the curse by the crown of thorns and de-livered me from the bondage of the earth. What happened to me when by Hisstripes there flowed that'crimson stream that loosed me from the bondage ofmy flesh. What happened ro me when he finally cried "It is finished", andgave up His spirit and released mine to know God as My Father. What hap-pened to me, when He rose again and I rose with Him, victorious over deathand the gra'ie. The True Message of Easter is what God has done for Youandtr{e.

Rev. Raymond SchochPastor, Maple Chapel
