Faith Based Ballet/Contemporary & Jazz Grades 3-4 The X-Tended Day Program at MCA is excited to announce that CREO Arts & Dance Conservatory is back to teach another semester of dance classes. Ballet/Contemporary is designed to develop the dancer from the inside out. Ballet gives dancers a strong foundation of balance, flexibility, and strength. Contemporary dance encourages dancers in expression and dramatic presentation.

Dancers also have the option of adding an additional hour of Jazz to their dance curriculum. CREO jazz classes focus on attack, strength, and isolation. We see jazz as vernacular art form. A visual expression of rhythm, music, and world culture. With this knowledge our students gain a foundational understanding of how to express their faith with passion and fervor! Faith Based Ballet/Contemporary 3:15-4:30 Tuesdays Oct 13, 20, 27 Nov 3, 10, 17 Dec 1, 8, 15 Cost: $175 Includes 2:45 Pick-up: A CREO instructor will greet your dancer after school in the cafeteria. The instructor will help dancers change, and give them time to eat snack. We will need at least 4 parent volunteers to help. Attire: Solid colored leotard, pink tights, or black leggings, pink leather ballet slippers, ballet skirt optional. Hair in a bun or ponytail. Water bottles are also a must in dance class.

Jazz (you need not take ballet in order to be in this class) 4:30-5:30 Tuesdays Oct 13, 20, 27 Nov 3, 10, 17 Dec 1, 8, 15 Cost: $145

Attire: Solid colored leotard or tank, black leggings or work out pants. No shorts. Hair in a pony tail. pink ballet or tan jazz shoes.
