Weaim to reflectboth thediversity andvaluesofourcommunity,aswellasbeingcommittedtoexcellenceintheprovisionofnotonlycarebutalsoeducationalprograms.

OurprogramhasbeendevelopedandinfluencedbytheEarlyYearsLearningFramework,adheringtotheguidelinessetbyACECQAandtheNationalQualityFramework.

AseducatorsatFairylandwebelievealoveoflearningisoneofthegreatestgiftsyoucangiveachild.Ourstimulating,natural learningenvironmentsaredesignedtoencouragewellbeing,wonder,andbelonging,aswellasenhancingeachchild’sstrengths,competence,andself-esteem.

PhilosophyFairyland Preschool is honoured to continue the traditions of teaching, learning, and respecting theenvironment of theAwabakal people, theoriginal custodians that have lived and learnt on the landonwhichwearelocated.

At Fairyland Preschool, we strive to build a strong sense of community which is nurtured throughunderstandingandrespectfulrelationships.

Weworkwithbothfamiliesandtheservicesandagencieswithinourcommunitytosupportallchildreninour care. We are committed to providing clear lines of communication and collaboration betweenfamilies. We listen to and learn from families to acknowledge and build upon their strengths andcompetenciesandsupportthemintheirroleofnurturingchildren.

It is through play that children can construct knowledge, build new understandings, and extend theirinherent curiosity and capabilities. Through play, intentional teaching, and spontaneous learningexperiencesweprovideastimulatingandchallengingenvironmenttoencourageandnurtureeachchild’sloveoflearning.Ourprogramwillassisteachchildtolearntointeracteffectively,andindoingsotolearnto balance their own rights, needs and feelings with those of others. Through our program and dailyinteractions, we will work with children to help them understand they are global citizens with sharedresponsibilitiestotheenvironmentandhumanity.

Secureattachmentsandrelationshipswithresponsiveandhighlyqualifiededucatorsarethefoundationsoflearning.Aseducators,weareawarethatcollaborativepartnershipsarecrucialtosuccessfuleducation.Theserelationshipsenablechildrentocontributetotheirworldbothnowandinthefuture.Aseducators,we play a significant role in scaffolding children’s learning by expanding upon their existing knowledge.Thisisachievedthroughinteractionsthatextendandchallengethechild’sdesiretolearn.

Asprofessionaleducators,ourknowledgeandqualificationsaremaintainedthroughongoingprofessionaldevelopment,meetings,discussions, and reflectivepractice. Eacheducator is an individual contributingtheir own interests, skills, experience, and knowledgewhich supports the evolving development of our
