His best known translations are Le Petit Chaperon rouge (Little Red Riding Hood), La Belle au bois dormant (Sleeping Beauty), Le Maître chat ou le Chat botté (Puss in Boots), and Cendrillon ou la petite pantoufle de verre (Cinderella).
