    Ted Tosterud Mayor

PO Box 58 Fairview, Oregon 97024

    06/08/16

Ted Tosterud was elected by the citizens of Fairview for the position of Mayor. In this position it is his job to represent the people of Fairview and not his personalviews. During his tenure as Mayor, Ted Tosterud has ignored the will of the public and voted his personal preference or that of a special interest group.Tosterud voted his personal view on the photo radar issue ignoring the publics support.Fairview City Council passed a business incentive program that waives most SDC's in November with no input from the citizens of Fairview. It is estimated to costresidents several millions in lost SDC revenue.High citizen backlash necessitated a community meeting where people were asked not to speak without solutions. Viable solutions that did come from this meetingwere not considered because Tosterud refused to put it on the Council agenda and the original plan to give away millions to developers while leaving citizens toshoulder the burden for twenty-five years remained. Why recall Ted Tosterud:

    - Lack of Leadership.- Lack of public trust- Lack of transparency- Break up the special interest hold on Council- Not representative of Fairview Citizens.

    Tamie Tlustos-Arnold City Councilor

PO Box 58 Fairview, Oregon 97024

    06/08/16

Tamie Tlustos-Arnold was defeated by a significant margin while running against Brian Cooper in the 2014 election.

The citizens of Fairview spoke loudly that they did not want Tamie on the City Council.

The Mayor approached city officials and staff about Council appointments and was told they did not want to work with TamieTlustos-Arnold again.

It appears the Fairview Business Association has undue influence on the council through appointments like Tamie Tlustos-Arnold.

The City Council and Major ignored the wishes of the citizens of Fairview, City Officials and staff and appointed Tamie Tlustos-Arnoldanyway.
