Problem-based learning

• Problem-based learning (PBL) as a pedagogical method is applied at the Faculty.

• With the support of a tutor, students work in small groups with a problems based in reality.

Interprofessional learning• An important feature is

the elements where all students study together to work out their future ability to interact in their professional roles.

• Interprofessional learning isabout collaboration between health professionals.

ResearchOur research spans the entire medical field, from basic experimental re-search to patient-orientedresearch, public health and nursing science.

Research• More than 100

professors.

• Approximately 500 doctoral students, almost 60 of whom receive their degrees every year.

Staff• Just under 700 employees converted into full-

time employment, 30% are men.

• More than 100 professors, every fourth professor is a woman. In total there are over 300 teachers.
