How to set up a

lounge event...Go to:faculty.vassar.edu/loungenetwork

Click ‘Explore the Lounges’ to enterthe interactive Lounge Explorer.

Find a lounge that suits your needsand desires.



Click ‘Schedule an Event’ on the LoungeNetwork’s home page.

Log into Vassar’s EventRequest System.

Hover over ‘Reservations’to see the drop-downmenu. Within that menu,

click on ‘Faculty LoungeNetwork.’



Enter the date and time of the eventin the left-hand panel. The calendarsystem will use this info to search forspaces.

Click this to selectthe date using thecalendar.

If this eventrepeats (sayweekly), clickthis to set therecurrencepattern.

Select the buildingthat your preferredlounge is in. Orchoose ‘all’ to searchthrough all loungesavailable at thattime.

You MUST enter a numberhere. Always underestimatethe attendance. Overly highestimates will unneccesarilyexclude smaller lounges.



In the center panel that appears, selectyour preferred lounge by clicking the greenplus sign next to its name. The system will

tell you if there is a scheduling conict inthe panel’s ‘Conict’ column.

Click the ‘Details’ tab at the top of the panel.Enter all the required information. Click‘Submit Reservation.’ You did it!
