The topic of PhD thesis The Concept of Liberty in the Poetry

of Kumaranasan is belonged to Literary Criticism. I have been

researching in folk lore and Environmental Literature more

than the area of Criticism.

I published three books in literary Criticism and edited five

books in the area of environment /folklore. Above that I

published one collection of poems and again one is having

progress in printing. Many Papers have been accepted and

included in Published books. I have presented more than fifty

papers including national and International. I have been

delivering lectures for many years in my topics at kerala.

Three scholars were awarded PhD and three are doing

Research in my Guidance. UGC has accepted my proposal for

a Major Research project on the topic The lore and local

knowledge of Water in Kerala- A Study based on Kuttanadu

and Eranadu.

Teaching Interest:Teaching Interest:Teaching Interest:Teaching Interest: I like to teach the students in a creative

pedagogical method, which may provide self motivation and

intellectual confidence, would lead the student to be confident,

optimistic and skillful. I had been served NSS as Programme

Officer for four years and introduced exploratory areas of

Environment Protection and Campaigns of Sustainable

Development through Education. I introduced new styles of

Personality development of students that is Career graph,

through Compulsory Social Service Programme of my former

University. I had been working as the coordinator of many

clubs like Literary, Environmental, Film and Journalism in my

former campus.
