The IslandThe island is only 35000 squaremeters, but what it lacks in physicalsize, it makes up for in its distinctivenatural character. The main featureof the island is its surroundingexpansive reef, but the island itselfhas very characteristic naturalfeatures, making each part of theisland quite unique and special in itsown way.

Boaku On the eastern face of theisland, is the Boaku, a shelteredbeach, shaped like a cove, allowingthe formation of a natural pool. Theseclusion and stillness of the waterinside Boaku, makes it perfectsetting to catch the sunrise and aswell as secure place to let yourchildren play.

Veli On the very western face isVeigandu, a very wide andexpansive flat beach of pure whitesand, with crystal clear turquoisewater that goes on and on. Mostmagnificent & stunning backdrop toview the sunset.

Getting to the Island

Dhigufaru Island is located on aWorld Renowned UNESCOBiosphere Reserve, Baa Atoll. Youhave the choice of flying directlyto Dhigufaru via Sea plan, whichwill be approximately 40 minutesfrom Male’ International Airport,or take the domestic scheduleflight to Baa Atoll DharavandhooDomestic Airport, which isapproximately 20 minutes, andour friendly team will be there toescort you to our speed boat,which will take your to the islandin 30 minutes.
