The Army, Navy, and Air Force are the three branches that the DOD breaks into, the Marines branch is underneath the Navy branch.

Underneath the leaders of the branches of the Military, the division of power becomes the Commanders of all the bases worldwide, and goes further down the Chain of Command.

The DOD keeps all records of troops and supplies over seas for our Armed Forces who are serving us.
