ABOUT AUGUSTA UNIVERS ITY
MCG students regularly perform at the top: First-time taker pass rate and mean scores for Step 1 and 2 of the United States Medical Licensing Examination are consistently at or above the national average. In 2016, 223 senior students obtained residencies in 24 specialties in 35 states and 48 percent matched in primary care. Nearly 30 percent of those students stayed in Georgia, 15 percent at AU Health. As of Match Day 2016, 100 percent of MCG senior students had a residency position.
