Being new to trinity I never had a formal intro to power writing. Myneighbors were nice enough to have me visit and watch a PWlesson. This was a great way to learn the "vertical coordination" of PW from 3's to 6th.

 Agree It seems that there are some scripted lessons and ways to introducestrategies that all of the other teachers in this session have had someexposure to through other workshops, etc. This was my first timehearing about the Cafe method so I felt a little bewildered.

 Absolutely. We had to think, engage, learn and monitor each other inorder to sound good together!!! I think learning in an environmentwhere the music itself (or the dance) gives you immediate feedback of "right" or areas of improvement gives great insight and remindersabout what it is like to learn. This is a good reminder when you are sobusy preparing lessons.

I left with lifted spirits and I wasn't in a bad mood to begin with!
