The game main screen (my office) is the subject of this brief . Your POV as a player is from behind your desk. You are looking at an assistant behind her desk. The assistantThe assistant is an important part of the game storytelling. She needs to have various amusing movements and facial

expressions. Her response to your ranking both positive and negative is a big part of it. Also the way she dances when the gamer plays music.

Here we have considered the option of avoiding all the walking around by letting the assistant dance from behind her desk (sitting down.)

This would make the game load time shorter and make smooth transitions between the various interactions easier. However the challenge is then more in the facial expressions during the music listening phase together with hand and shoulder

movements. One of the issues with this animation is that it needs to seem to be in response to the music. But the music will vary vastly so

there is no option to time movements to music. As mentioned earlier you will need to play the office/ranking part of the game to understand the job properly.

We have prepared a demo video showing the timing of the various segments It can be viewed on youtube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T00GUf__mxQ Note that the laptop monitor in front of the assistant is part of the animation and not of the bg. The scene lengths are all noted

in the video but feel free to modify them. The actual video file used in the game is uploaded here together with this PPT.

The Girl. How should she look. And what do we need to accept a pitch. The assistant should look “Cool” as in someone who might actually work for a record label. She should be sexy but not insulting

to girls sexy. Her personality is vital. She would never take any $%#” from her “boss” the gamer” and she is a city girl. Note that the coloring of the current figure is out of step with the office lighting and this makes her look to separate from the scene.

A correct size office graphic is included with the brief to use as a working BG. There are many different offices ,(they get better with the longer playing time but the one you have here is the darkest. Just ask if you want to see more offices.

To accept a pitch we need a coloured drawing of the girl and an animation of her “dancing” to the music behind her desk.
