Today, over half a century later, the Bindi family still runs the business. Bindi is known and appreciated worldwide for its wide array of high quality desserts.

begins with a bicycle in 1946, in the city of Milan, Italy. Attilio Bindi, Tuscan restaurateur and founder of the Company, driven by his passion for sweets, opened his original “Pasticceria” on Via Larga.

At that time everyone advertised the old fashioned way: by word of mouth. The news spread quickly and swiftly, every restaurant in the city demanded his pastries. Attilio understood the needs of this postwar time and used the bicycle to have his cakes delivered within 2 hours!

In time, thanks to the leading role of Romano and Rino, Attilio’s sons, new freezing techniques and the evolution of transportation, Bindi was able to satisfy the demand for his creations, guaranteeing the same consistency in product, quality and service, throughout the rest of Italy and to other countries over the Alps.
