Responsibilities:- As a Drafter on this foundation team you will report to and work closely with the Project Managers and will assist the Design Manager with shop drawing management, submission and coordination using Aconex and other collaborative design tools. This is a key position in the foundation team and will be responsible for producing shop and production drawings.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years’ experience in building structures/ facade design within a consultancy or contractor
- Proficient in using AutoCAD to produce 2D drawings and 3D model. Experience with Revit, SketchUp and other 3D modelling would be beneficial but not essential.
- Strong communication skills and local knowledge is essential,
- Ability to read, check and relay drawings between company offices and suppliers is desirable.
- Sound knowledge of installation process of curtain walling or glazing projects on high rise construction
- Experience with Aconex required but not essential
- Experience with Microsoft Office programs essential.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines to meet target dates.
