ABOUT SERGE FERRARI4

1973Creation of the company by Serge Ferrari, who enters the market of technical composite materials for industrial applications. 1974Serge Ferrari invents a pioneering fabrication process: The Précontraint technology

1981Sébastien Ferrari enters the family business to support his father in sales, marketing and the international development.

1991Romain Ferrari joins the company to manage the development of new products, new processes and the sustainability of the solutions. 1997Serge Ferrari purchases the Batyline technology and the plant to enter into the market of high performance composite materials for outdoor furniture and interior design.

1998Serge Ferrari offers a unique process to recycle its materials. Texyloop permits to produce 2nd generation raw materials for multi-applications.

2001The company takes over Stamoid from the Swiss group Forbo and enlarges its product range with products for yachting, sign, furniture and breathable membranes.

2005The group incorporates the yarn producing plant in Switzerland to have a fully integrated production process.

TODAYToday the Serge Ferrari group is operating internationally with 730 employees in 80 countries. The group trades through a worldwide distributor network and 8 subsidiaries in the USA, Japan, Hong-Kong, Brazil, India, China, Turkey and Germany & 2 representative offices in Spain and Dubai. The Group has three production sites: one in France and two in Switzerland.
