• Withrightsidesfacing,layera 2½ x 2½ - inch white square on the lower-right corner of one of the 2½ x 4½ - inch print rectangles and on the lower left corner of the other 2½ x 4½ - inch print rectangle as shown. Stitch on drawn lines. Trim seam allowances to ¼ - inch. Flip and press.

• Arrange and sew into a heart as shown.

Block measures 4½ x 4½ inches.Make 1 heart from each blue for a total

of 6 hearts.

For each block you will need:1, 4½ x 4½ - inch blue heart 2, 2½ x 12½ - inch dark red print rectangles 1, 2½ x 4½ - inch matching dark red print rectangle

1, 4½ x 6½ - inch matching dark red print rectangle and 1, 6½ x 8½ - inch light red print rectangle

• Arrange and sew into a block as shown.

Make 6 blocks.Block measures 18½ x 8½ - inches.

Tablerunner Assembly

Rows

• Rotate, arrange and sew 6 blocks into a tablerunner as shown in diagram. Tablerunner measures 18½ x 48½ - inches.

Finishing

• Layer,baste,hand or machine quilt, trim,

and add binding.
