FABRIC INSPECTION POLICY

To measure maximum 4’ defects point in a yard AAQC (American Association of Quality Control) is called 4 point System.

Firstly, we receive the fabric as per packing list and then we store in a “Quarantine Area”. From quarantine area we take 10% fabric for inspection by 4 points system.

Points to be consider while inspection:

1. Defects must be measured defects length wise.2. Defect within 1”-2” of selvedge is not considered.3. Maximum penalty points per yard are 4 points.4. The unit of yard is square yard.

Formula for 4 point system is :

Total penalty point 100------------------------- X -------------------- X 36Length of Fabric Fabric Width

Penalty point to be considered:

1. Defects less than 3” = 1 point2. Defects within 3” to 6” = 2 point3. Defects within 6” to 9” = 3 point4. Defects from 9” to above = 4 point5. Defects for any hole = 4 point
