Fabric creates unique and innovative cycling products, which combine performance, comfort and efficiency in the most simple and elegant solutions. We push the boundaries of traditional component and accessory design by taking an unconventional approach to development. We look outside of the bicycle industry to find the latest engineering and manufacturing technologies to construct products in ways that no other manufacturer has done to date. We have a clear understanding of good ergonomics and their benefits, and we aim to make it easy for you to find the product that suits your needs best.

2014 was an exciting year for Fabric. After nearly three years of design, development and testing we were finally ready to show our ideas and hard work to the public, and in June we previewed our new brand and its products to an unsuspecting and surprised group of sports journalists in Utah, USA. Their initial response was encouraging, but their subsequent test reviews were of such critical acclaim that we began to be surprised ourselves! In September we officially launched the Fabric brand at the world’s largest bicycle trade show — Eurobike in Germany. It was resounding success — and the irrefutable excitement around Fabric helped solidify our plans to release more revolutionary products in the forthcoming year.

This is just the beginning.

The Cell saddle uses a unique structure of hexagonal air-filled cells, which have all the comfort benefits of a gel or sprung saddle without the weight penalty.

The ALM saddle is named after Additive Layer Manufacturing, the method for printing titanium in a three dimensional form.

Technology plays a vital part in the design and engineering process at Fabric. By looking at parallel industries we’ve adopted new methods of prototyping and manufacture that have enabled us to design the most innovative and creative products. We have partnered with the makers of high-end running shoes to bring their technology and experience to the development of our ground breaking Cell saddle.

For our ALM saddle, we collaborated with Airbus Group Innovations, who are pioneering 3D titanium printing, to prototype the carbon leaf spring rails; the result is a radically unique appearance with exceptional shock absorbing characteristics. As we look to enter new product categories we will be adopting a similar approach to design, engineering and manufacture to bring real advantages and benefits to our users.

Created with a unique cut out pad, the Line has a central

The ALM range of saddle all feature our unique leaf spring rails designed

with Airbus. Pro level [1] ALM saddles are finished with a fibre-glass

base where both Ultimate [2] and LTD [3] ALM saddles share the

same flexible, full carbon base. Our ALM LTD saddle is covered with

laser etched buffalo leather to reduces weight even further.

Scoop Elite saddles feature our custom nylon base which is very

flexible giving you maximum comfort and comes in the widest

selection of colours. Scoop Elite saddles have a hollow

chromoly rail with an anti-corrosive coating.

comfort and is also highly resistant to oxidation and abrasion

through its CrNi coating. Scoop Race saddles are paired with

We offer three saddle widths: 134mm, 142mm, and

155mm which suit all Somatotypes; Ectomorph (light

bone structure) Mesomorph (average bone structure)

and Endomorph (broad bone structure). Depending

on your somatotype we can recommend a Fabric saddle

that best suits your bone structure.

142mm wide saddles suit Mesomorphs.

Mesomorphs have a medium bone struc-

ture, a naturally athletic physique and can

achieve well defined muscles.

134mm wide saddles suit Ectomorphs.

Ectomorphs have a light build with a small

frame and bone structure. They tend to be

thin with lean muscle mass.

155mm wide saddles suit Endomorphs.

Endomorphs usually are of shorter build

with thick arms and legs. Muscles are

strong, especially the upper legs.

All of our saddles are designed to maximise both comfort and performance. Choosing your correct saddle width will improve your cycling experience by offering the correct support for your sit bones.

It is easy to find your Somatotype, you simply divide

your height (cm) by your wrist circumference (cm),

and multiply the final result by 100. This percentage

indicates which Somatotype you are, and helps you find

your perfect saddle.

The most simple way to fi nd your saddle width is to

cut out the Somatotape and wrap around your wrist.

If your height sits between colours then either saddle

should fi t you, but we recommend visiting a Fabric

dealer to test our saddles in store.

The highest level of padding that

provides maximum support for all-day

comfort. A fully curved cross section suits

a more upright riding position.

Flat profile is for an aerodynamic

position, with minimal padding and base

material that provides a comfortable and

supportive platform.

Shallow profile is for a more upright riding

position with medium level of padding that

provides multi-position comfort.

We offer three profiles in our saddle range;

Flat, Shallow and Radius. It’s important to know that

they are all suitable for any type of bicycle riding,

but the key question is which position do you sit in

whilst riding your bike? This then determines the

correct profile of the saddle that best suits your

riding style. The more upright that you sit, the more

padding is needed to reduce the pressure on your sit

bones and offers support over the whole saddle.

For the most upright position we have our Radius profile.

A more aggressive, aero position moves your upper

body down and forwards requiring a much flatter

saddle across the top, with minimal cushioning at

the rear - this we call our Flat profile.

Our Shallow profile sits in between the two,

offering the best of both worlds; a flatter profile

than a Radius saddle, and with more cushioning

than a Flat.

This is our ultra-compact Co2 kit. Using integrated

tyre levers that seamlessly house one Co2 cartridge and

a silicone band for mounting, this simple and minimal

design reduces weight and fuss.

The Chamber X12 ratchet tool is compact, light and highly functional.

We have increased the efficiency and functionality by developing a

reversible ratchet T-bar system, making sure that accessibility to hard-

to-get-to areas is not hampered by the shape of the product itself.
