You will need to bring a sewing machine to all machine sewing classes. Please bring a machine in good working order (oiled and ready to use) that YOU know how to operate, thread, etc. The teacher will not have time to help you figure out, repair or thread your sewing machine. Arrive at least 10 minutes prior to class to set up your work area. Bring an extension cord in case you need one. Check the supply lists for what items are needed for class.

You willselect one of Laura’s ‘mini’ collage patterns for this two day class; patternoptions will be listed on the supply list. The first day of class we will spenddesigning and ‘coloring in’ your version of the pattern. We will talk aboutshading and creating focus areas on your collage as you bring your owncollage to life. We will continue on the second day with machine quiltingand tacking all the pieces down so that you should leave class with a nearlyfinished piece of work.
