There are many chemicals in the printing ink. We divide them into five groups:
Alcohol
Isopropanol, etc.
Organic solvent
Toluene, trichloroethylene, perchlorcethylene, ethylene glycol, etc.
Resin Acrylic resin, epoxy resin, etc.
Dyes
Aniline, toluidine, azo dyes, etc.
Others
Oxalic acid, plasticizer, wax, etc.
Some of the chemicals have bad effect to our body. They will affect our health through 3 ways:
1. Touch the printing ink for a long time2. Swallow the ink carelessly3. Smell the ink for a long time (only printing technician)
The main impacts are…•Stimulate the skin•Stimulate the respiratory tract•Damage the central nervous system•Damage the liver
They may cause…•Paralysis•Pulmonary edema

There maybe different chemicals
in different newspapers,but we
can’t find them out. We can only
find the most common chemicals.
We feel sorry about this.
