Annual Meeting & trustee Election

The Library Trustees have announced that one 5-year trustee term on the Board is expiring in January 2020. This seat will be filled by an election during the Annual Meeting on Wednesday, January 15, 2020. Trustee John Grossman was elected in 2012 and is eligible for re-election. Friends of the Library Bus Trip: Christmas Spectacular!Wednesday, November 20 Show: 2:00 PMDepart: 8:45 AM Fee: $105Join the Friends of the Library for a holiday trip you won’t forget! See the world-famous Rockettes perform in Radio City Music Hall’s ‘Christmas Spectacular’! Show tickets are $105 payable to the Friends of the PJFL. Lunch is on your own. Our Hampton Jitney bus will pick us up in front of Village Hall at 9am. You’ll have some time for lunch and a walk before the show. The performance is 90 minutes long and does not include an intermission. Arrive back in Port Jefferson around 6pm.

In addition, a miniature Dickens era model train will be on display depicting two of the earliest trains: DeWitt Clinton, named after the father of the Erie Canal, and the Pegasus train that Dickens himself named because of its amazing speed for the day.There will also be musical entertainment at various times on both days.
