Dear Parents, Caregivers,
As Term one draws to a close our secondary students are busy studying for exams and
catching up on all assignments. Midterm exams are January 29th and February 1st.
Next week (February 2-4th) some of our grade 9-12 students attending our second Culture
Campout at the Gnat Pass camp on Highway 37. Mr. Lagace, Mr. Curtis Rattray and Ms.
Peeters will be leading the campout. The primary intention of the camp is to provide stu-
dents with opportunities to participate in on the land ancestral experiences.
Elementary students have begun sewing and art with Penny Louie and Nikita Tashoots, from
Tahltan Health on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings. Nikita is also starting after school ac-
tivities from 3:00-6:00 PM on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays.
February is Anti- Bullying Month and students are learning more about how we can all make
a difference in creating a positive school culture. Yesterday, RCMP Sergeant, Steve Woodcox
talked with our grade 7-8 class about bullying and he will be visiting other classrooms during
the month.
