FE8000 - Low Density Polythylene

DESCRIPTION

FE8000 is an addit ive free grade, produced by a high pressure tubular process, mainly recommended for l ight and medium duty f i lm appl icat ions with good optical propert ies and medium rigidity.

Fi lms produced with FE8000 are suf ic iently r igid for automatic packaging Fi lms produced with FE8000 are suf ic iently r igid for automatic packaging machines, suitable for shrink wrapping and have good optical propert ies.

Technical Disclaimer

PROCESSING

FE8000 can be easi ly processed on al l types of extruders designed for poly-ethylene and over a wide range of extrusion condit ions.The melt temperature is suggested to be in the range of 160-180 °C.The best propert ies of the blown lm are achieved at blow up ratios between 2:1 and 3:1.The recommended thickness range is from 30 μm to 200 μm.

HANDLING & STORAGE

PPolyethylene products should be stored in their original packaging or in clean appropriate si los.The products should be stored in a dry and wel l-venti lated area and should not be exposed to direct sunl ight and/ or heat in any form since this may ad-versely affect their propert ies.As a general rule, our products should not be stored for more than three months from receipt date.

SAFETY
