This is the first newsletter from EZ Power Steering. We are proud to inform you about exci-

ting new additions to our product line and events we will be attending in the near future.

2013 has been an exciting year for EZ Power Steering. Since last April

we have become the OEM supplier of power steering units for the Morgan Motor Company in Malvern. Every Morgan V6 Roadster now produced has an EZ Electric Power Steering column fitted.

The Morgan Plus 4 can be ordered with our product as an option. Besides the extra business this generates, it is a confirmation of our product quality that Morgan has chosen EZ as business partner.

This year we have also developed power steering kits for cars not converted by us before, such as the

Lotus Esprit, Ford Capri, Mazda RX7 and the Ford GT40.

Besides the continuous development of power steering products, EZ Power Steering has

developed a new line of steering wheels that have a slightly smaller diameter than the original, but look identical in every other way. Cars like the Mercedes 190 SL and the Corvette C1 come to mind.

This year, more smaller steering wheels will be available, such as the Volvo P1800, Volvo 123 GT, Aston Martin DB2/4/5/6, and Mercedes Pagoda.

EZ Power Steering can of course also supply period correct Moto-Lita, Nardi and Momo steering wheels.

When the car has very little interior space and the legroom is limited, tall drivers

cannot find a comfortable position. For these special cases EZ Power Steering reintroduced an old favorite:

The Le Mans steering wheel. In the 1950’s at Le Mans, drivers needed to enter and exit the cars quickly but needed a large diameter steering wheel to cope with the heavy steering.

That’s why our Le Mans steering wheels have a flat bottom.

It’s a love it or leave it affair, but there is no other period correct solution that creates such significant leg room.

These type of steering wheels are available in numerous designs such as E-Type, Aston Martin, XK 120, and the pictured Nardi 3-spoke style.

One of the most exciting orders we received was from the noted Mercedes restorer

Kienle GmbH for the 300 SL Gullwing tilt-away steering wheels (in the original 42,5 cm ø).

These have not been available for a long time. Part of their order will be forwarded to Mercedes Benz Classic for the restoration of Gullwing cars by the Mercedes department. Later this year we will be introducing a limited production run of 50 pieces of the Gullwing tilt-away steering wheel in a 38 cm ø.
