I wonder if I am going to die.I hear a snake wiggling.

I see a yummy fly.I want to satisfy my cravings.

I am a Tree Frog.

I question my friend about his prey.I feel jealous because my friend got to the fly first.

I touch the lime green leaves.I worry that I will get eaten by a vine snake.

I cry because I am so afraid of snakes.I understand that someday I might get eaten by a snake.

I am a Tree Frog.

I say CROAK!I believe that I jump and touch the sky.

I dream of relaxing at the pond.I try to hop but I can’t.

I hope that I will not die.I was once a baby.

But now I am an adult frog.I am a Tree Frog.

I say that my tadpoles might die.I believe that I am in danger.

I dream of eating a big grasshopper.I try to be safe.

I hope that my babies are not in danger.I was once a happy, little tadpole.

But now I am a frog that can have 10,000 babies.I am a Tree Frog.

I try to not get eaten.I hope that I don’t run into another snake.

I was once very young.But now I am going to die.
