where she was promoted to Property Manager in 2014. She joined the Pyramid Center team in 2015. “It has always been a professional goal of mine to be Property Manager at The Pyramid, one of the most iconic buildings in the world,” she says. Danielle says she enjoys the fast-paced environment and the focus on tenants within the Financial District.

FAMILY EMERGENCY PLANNINGWe work diligently to prepare for response to major disasters and protect the people working in the Pyramid Center; however, as safe as this site might be, we know that tenants who have not invested time in preparing at home will be rushing through the disaster zone to get to their loved ones. In some cases those efforts may be futile. It is crucial to prepare ahead of time as a family to make plans for communication and response during and after emergency events. Start by considering whether you can answer the following questions for your family: 1) How will we communicate following a major emergency? (reminder: cell phone towers are often overwhelmed)

2) Are we prepared if utilities (water, electricity, gas) to our home are lost?

3) If ATMs and banks are out of commission, how will we access cash for unforeseen needs?

4) Do we know how to safely turn off the gas, power or water to our home?

Get connected, gather supplies, and make a plan by visiting the San Francisco Department of Emergency Management’s excellent resource website: www.sf72.org. Your time invested in this critical planning is well worth the effort.
