Arbonne found Shanna Mirante of Garden

City, New York, when she was at an

interesting crossroads in her life. She knew

that at some point she would have to choose

between children and her career. She wanted the

freedom to stay home with her kids, so she took

the road less travelled with Arbonne, and it made

all the difference.

I believe we all have a purpose in life, and for me it’s wonderful to be doing something that I love, with amazing people, while also giving back. Like many, I was skeptical of the network marketing industry, although I couldn’t articulate why. I decided to use my business background to delve into what made Arbonne so intriguing and different. What I dis-covered excited me beyond belief. I was introduced to Arbonne while vacationing in Florida. When I returned home, I received samples of the phenomenal anti-aging line, as well as a slew of information on the company and the network marketing industry. My research uncovered an industry about to explode and a brilliant business model that gave me the potential to build a success-ful business while working from home and being present for my kids.

The idea that success could be a team sport was exciting! I knew this company was going to explode with or without me, and I couldn’t bear the thought of missing out. I have always been driven and persistent in attaining my goals, whether in my college athletic career, my education, my Wall Street career, or being the best mom possible. It’s so fulfilling to find the “it factor” in someone that they may not yet see in themselves and then encourage them to grow and shine. Life is too short not to spend each day the way you choose. I define success as living the life you desire by spending your time and finances the way you choose.

It’s being able to attend all the school functions and sports events, and help with homework. It’s being able to vacation when I want and take my kids to the beach all summer long. It’s the friendships I’ve made with others in this incredible company that will last a lifetime.

your guard. Not doing so could keep you from the chance of a lifetime. The most expensive thing you own is a closed mind. This company is real. The products are superb. The people are second to none, and you can be part of it!

You will be tested. You will fail. And when you fail, celebrate because it puts you one step closer to your dream. I encountered the same obstacles every entrepreneur does while building a business, includ-ing cancellations, rejection, self-doubt, and dream stealers. These are all inherent in any business, especially one that requires learning new skill sets. On the flip side are the rewards, such as the confidence that comes from mastering new skills, the self-esteem that comes from fol-lowing through, and the joy of seeing someone you have helped succeed.

Whenever asked for the secret of my success, I always say it’s persis-tence. I’m just an Independent Consultant who never quit and was willing to put in the hours to hone my skills. Too many people give up the minute things get uncomfortable. Success takes dreams, desire, and drive.

Everyone’s journey is different, but I believe Arbonne is a gift from God. Being able to share it with others is such a blessing, and I am so thank-ful for this opportunity.
