The Bausano granulation system consists of an air or water cutter unit according to the type of processed material.

The cut granule is conveyed through stainless steel tubes up to the cooler where a cooled cyclone with double air gap separates air and fumes. Furthermore, a range of water jet front cut products is available to meet the cutting needs of polyolefin materials.

The modular elements and the broad range of Bausano equipment, make it possible to implement lines customised in every detail, suitable for the production specifications and reliable over time.

GRANULATION HEAD

Bausano granulation heads are used for the production of thermoplastic granules, both virgin and recycled, obtained from work scraps.Designed to achieve the optimal distribution on the die plate and to facilitate opening and cleaning operations, reducing the machine downtime to a minimum.

SCREEN CHANGER

The screen changer allows reusing, through granulation, all the plastic materials from scraps or post-consumer – such as PVC, PE, PP, PC and ABS – removing any contaminants. Designed for the special needs of companies operating in plastic material regeneration, the Bausano automatic hydraulic screen changers can be installed directly on the terminal of the cylinder and connected to all our standard granulation heads. A flashing and acoustic alarm will be activated whenever a change of the screen is required.

FRONT AIR CUTTER

The Bausano granulation system can be composed of a cutter with front cut, complete with guard for forced air circulation and soundproof fan. The cut granule is conveyed through stainless steel tubes up to the cooler where a cooled cyclone with double air gap separates air and fumes.

LATERAL AIR CUTTER

The CA2B is a cutter with non-coaxial cutting blades in relation to the granulation head. This construction feature allows the blade surface temperature to remain low, preventing the decomposition of any processed material residues.

COOLING UNIT

Granule cooling is carried out on a perforated stainless steel plate by means of forced air circulation generated by vertical flow valves, fitted in the machine base. Air inlet filters, fitted outside the base, ensure an air flow with no contamination. The alternating movement of the surfaces is generated by special counter-rotating mass vibrators, allowing a uniform distribution of granules, with subsequent optimisation of the useful cooling surface.

Bausano offers a series of submerged or liquid ring water cuts, to meet the needs of our customer.
